Kristin has been immersed in real estate her entire life. As a third-generation realtor on the Peninsula, she carries on a storied tradition of excellence in Peninsula real estate that began in 1945. Her grandfather, Emmet Cashin, was the owner of Fox and Carskadon, which dominated the Peninsula real estate market for decades. Following in his footsteps, her father, Skip Cashin, grew Fox and Carskadon to become the largest private brokerage in the country prior to its sale. Skip continued this legacy by building and selling another highly successful luxury real estate brokerage, Cashin Company. Both companies were founded on integrity, honesty, and a strong sense of community, values that Kristin continues to uphold.
Born and raised in Atherton and Menlo Park, Kristin attended St. Raymond's School, Castilleja, Menlo High School, and Georgetown University. At Georgetown, she balanced achieving a dual degree in English and Fine Arts with NCAA Big East rowing. Her connections led her to New York, where she gained her first exposure to luxury international marketing and PR with Van Cleef and Arpels. After a few years, the Bay Area called her home, and she joined Spectrum Equity Investors as director of research and investor relations for the next eight years. In 2003, Kristin launched her highly successful selling career. She has built her reputation through tough negotiations, targeted marketing, and discretion with a loyal client base that includes legacy families, industry leaders, and international investors. She consistently ranks among the top agents nationally.
Kristin is deeply involved with local charities, including Donor Network West, Root Division, Colon Cancer Alliance (Inside Anne’s Closet), and GG Lab Rescue. Her love for this area and its evolution, combined with her astute understanding of buying and selling real estate, gives her a level of expertise that is second to none.
